Learn To Grow
We are starting Learn to Grow Program with following goals.
Establishment of an employment oriented education institution followed by skills development for market job placement. Malot Institute of Technical Studies offers a space for learning and education where the youth and the vulnerable can learn, promote, and practice a meaningful life. It offers courses for the young and motivated groups and individuals from union council Malot with collaboration of AJK TEVTA, Trade Testing Board Muzaffarabad and Connect Kashmir Institute Bhimber, who wants to achieve their dreams and strive to contribute to the processes of social change through his/her direct or indirect involvement. Few points of our ‘Learn to Grow’ project plan.
- Arrange targeted education for our children by enhancing their English reading/writing and Arithmetic skills.
- Arrange technical education for adults and students so, they can cope with new market trends and get online freelance jobs like. Graphics designing, Computer programming and Metaverse in future with the help of Connect Kashmir Institute Bhimber.
- We are also planning to start other vocational training programs soon with the collaboration of AJK TEVTA and Trade Testing Board Muzaffarabad for girls and boys who are interested in other fields of study.
- We are planning to offer need-based scholarships for children from garde1 to Grade10. This program will cover the cost of uniform, shoes, stationary, books and summer and winter clothes for home use along with little stipend. We will monitor and supervise these kids for successful implementation of plan.
- We are also planning for Intermediate, Bachelor and Master’s degree interest free loans program for needy students to cover their fee and regular expenses. They will pay back these loans in easy installments after completion of studies.
Hope To Heal
For countless families, who cannot afford basic medicine or transport costs, to reach the nearest hospital or medical clinic, illnesses can become life threatening. We are taking this initiative to facilitate our elders and youngsters who need medical services but their economic conditions is not good enough .
We provide health card through renowned international health insurance company “Allianz” and “EFU Life” so, our people can get emergency health services on timely manners. This program also covers their life insurance so, they can get benefit after completion of insurance plan along with additional benefits to families in case of unforeseen event.
- Provide free medical treatment to adults and children in our area, who are unable to afford. We are providing health card through renowned international health insurance company “Allianz” and “EFU Life“. In first phase, we are planning to start with “50″ deserving families insurance. We will extend this to further families in near future.
- Disabled and Orphans. We provide financial support to families, to help meet the needs of their disabled children. In addition, we also support orphan children with their education, learning materials, medical care, food and clothing.
- Arrange free medical camps Specifically, to provide both preventive and curative treatment for common conditions in the community and refer those who require specialized treatment to the relevant hospitals and support.
- In the field of Emergency Medical Services, time plays a very important role as you need to reach to the patients as early as possible to assist them with immediate care and take them to the nearest hospital, if needed. Even a delay of a second may cost the patient’s life. To cope up with this situation MWO will arrange own ambulance service in near future.
Food For Need
The Mission of MWO is to raise the living standards of society by all means, therefore, along with the educational, professional and medical services MWO also aims to provide healthy and quality food to the needy families.
Since 2014, we have been providing food packs to families in severe poverty, ensuring that food assistance provided to the most vulnerable populations is appropriate, timely, effective, efficient, and based on needs and shared principles;
- We are doing this occasionally in month of Ramazan and during start of Covid 19. We are planning now to help our community on regular basis so, people who need this service shouldn’t wait for long period to get help because every day matters in life of person who is in need.
Work To Elevate
This is our big program to bring change in our area. We have plans to construct mini dams, ponds , repair streets , arrange street lights, clean water, waste management system and other developments.
We already started Pond reconstruction of safety wall which was damaged due to heavy rains . We will construct Community center also very soon.
We are also starting construction of mini water reservoir very soon as new project.
